HOW ONLINE BOOKING WORKS

The ArokariApartments website allows you to book one or more apartments directly, with a few simple steps, paying by credit card or PayPal.

The minimum booking is 3 nights.

For bookings of less than 6 nights, acceptance of the booking request is subject not only to availability but also to contingent organizational possibilities. For this reason, the booking path changes for stays of less than 6 nights from that for stays of 6 nights or more.

RESERVATIONS FOR STAYS OF AT LEAST 6 NIGHTS 

The process is easy and fast and consists of five simple steps:

1) step 1 “Entering booking data”

2) step 2 “Purchase of supplementary services”

3) step 3 “Customer data entry”

4) step 4 “Payment of advance”

 

0) DATA ENTRY TO CHECK AVAILABILITY

First check the availability of the apartments for the period you are interested in.

Just enter the arrival date, the departure date, and the number of guests (adults, minors, infants). You will find the registration form at the top of the home page at the bottom of the photo slider, or at the bottom of all the pages of the site, by clicking on the “book” button. In this second case, the system will ask you to choose whether you want to make the guided booking, or you prefer to do it yourself.

Once the form has been filled in, the system will automatically select all the alternatives currently available, even for multiple bookings, in the event that the total number of customers is greater than the accommodation capacity of the apartment.

Choose the solution you like best. However, you can change your choice later. Once the choice has been made, the system will move you to the first step of the booking form which will be pre-filled with the choice previously made.

If instead, you have chosen to do it yourself, the system will immediately send you to the next step. But in this case, you will have to enter all the data from the beginning.

Finally, you can always click on the “check availability” button. You will be directed to the “Availability” page which allows you to see all the apartments currently available. The data on this page is constantly updated.

 

1) ENTRY OF RESERVATION DATA

Once you have chosen the proposed solution, the system will ask you to continue with the specific entry of data necessary to prepare the apartment (or apartments) according to your specific needs.

It is important to fill in carefully how you want the beds to be prepared up and the possible use of extra beds (sofa beds) or travel cots (free), which are more suitable for infants.

In the case of multiple bookings (ie with several selected apartments), it is also important to indicate how many people will be present in each apartment.

Attention: it should be noted that each apartment has different possibilities for arranging the beds. Double beds that can be separated into single beds are not always available.

You can also decide to completely reformulate the reservation: it will not be necessary to restart from the homepage or from the “book” button. Just click on the reset button on the booking form.

Based on the check-in and check-out dates, the system will allow you to choose only the apartments that are available and suitable for the total number of guests entered.

Once the data has been entered, continue by clicking on the “next” button

 

2) PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES

ArokariApartments is always careful to try to satisfy all possible needs of its customers. For this reason, it offers the possibility of purchasing some services that are particularly suitable for a beach holiday, such as the rental of beach chairs, deck chairs, umbrellas, masks, and fins.

You can also request additional changes of sheets or cleaning of the apartment.

All our apartments are cleaned and sanitized before your arrival and are all equipped with the necessary for cleaning surfaces and floors.

The rental cost also includes a weekly change of all textiles (pillowcases, sheets, towels, bath mats, kitchen towels, and tablecloths) and the supply of toilet paper, washing machine detergents, dish detergents, and body cleaning soaps.

However, for a fee, you can request extra house cleaning (available on a weekly basis) or extra linen change (available a maximum of every three days).

The system will calculate, based on the number of nights booked, the maximum extra cleaning and additional changes that you can request.

Once the purchase has been completed, click on the “next” button to continue to the next step.

Attention: the purchase of these services is guaranteed only if made at the time of booking. At any subsequent time, the acceptance of their request is subject to the availability and organizational possibilities of the moment.

 

3) ENTRY OF GUEST DATA

We are almost at the end!

Now just enter the names of each guest and the type/number of documents that you will present for each at check-in.

It is very important to enter this data.

Only in this way, the system will be able to correctly prepare your voucher, which is valid as a Timeshare Hotel Lease Agreement.

It will also allow us to speed up the registration phase of your check-in.

This third step of the booking form will already be pre-filled with the previously entered data and the system will warn you if you insert documents that will be expired at the time of your arrival or your departure. In this case, you can still proceed with the booking but you will have to send the new valid documents at least three days before your arrival to allow us to update the voucher with the new data and send it to you.

Do not forget that the declaration of false or invalid data in the booking voucher renders the contract null and void and deprives you of the right to any refund. (see “Rules to stay“, see “Cancellation and Refund Terms“)

4) PAYMENT OF THE ADVANCE

We have reached the end!

The system will ask you to pay the advance as confirmation of the booking. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or PayPal.

No fear! ArokariApartments relies on the international secure payment platform Stripe.

At the end of the payment, the system will send you an email with the following files:

Booking voucher: the booking voucher is a real Timeshare Hotel Lease Agreement and refers to a single rented apartment. Therefore, in the case of multiple bookings, more booking vouchers will be sent to you.

Rules to Stay: The Rules to Stay that you signed at the time of booking will still be sent to you to allow you to read them again at any time and avoid running into unpleasant situations.

Local Services Guide: ArokariApartments has created a Local Services Guide, which you can consult at any time also from the services bar on the homepage. This guide has been created with the express purpose of helping you find all the essential services (such as: ATMs, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, taverns, etc.) to enjoy your holiday in the best possible way.

Welcome Service: our experience and your prompts have allowed us to create this special and exclusive welcome service. In order not to have to rush to buy food products upon your arrival, we have made an agreement with a local supermarket to allow you to purchase food products to be found directly in the apartment upon your arrival. ArokariApartments does not make any kind of profit from this service, offering itself only as an intermediary to improve the quality of your stay.

How to reach ArokariApartments: The residence is located outside the town, bordered by the sea and surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and pine forests. To be able to reach it, the last stretch of road is a bit tortuous and you can get lost. For this reason, we have created a guide to reach us however you decide to travel. Follow the instructions carefully and everything will be very easy.

Car rental: Given the geographical position of the residence, it is necessary that you have a car to be able to move independently. In the email, you will also find the link to access the form for car rental with a company, with base in Kalamata, with which ArokariApartments colaborates. ArokariApartments does not have any kind of income from this service, offering itself only as an intermediary.

Shuttle rental: If for your specific needs, you prefer to be accompanied to the residence, you can rent different types of vehicles with a driver, through a specialized company of Kalamata, with which ArokariApartments collaborates. ArokariApartments does not have any kind of income from this service, offering itself only as an intermediary.

ATTENTION: The prices shown are inclusive of the “Tourist Stay Tax“. Greek law requires us to collect this tax in cash upon check-out, and separately from the rental payment. For this purpose, a separate tax receipt will be issued.

BOOKINGS FOR STAYS LESS THAN 6 NIGHTS

3) VALIDATION OF THE RELIABILITY OF THE BOOKING REQUEST

An email will then be sent to you with a link to validate the veracity of your booking request.

You will have 12 hours to confirm by clicking on the link. Only after giving confirmation, the apartment will be blocked on the dates indicated in the request and no other customer will be able to book it for the same period. You can check this by going to the “Availability” page, where you will find the dates you requested in grey.

At the end of the time, if you have not confirmed your request, the system will automatically cancel it.

Our staff will process your request and within a few hours (at the latest within 24 hours in periods of high traffic) will reply to confirm or reject it. We remind you that the refusal does not only depend on any requests confirmed just prior to yours but also on the contingent organizational possibilities.

In the event that the booking request is rejected, the system will send you an automatic notification of the booking refusal.

 

4) ENTRY OF GUEST DATA

If your booking is accepted, the booking system will send you a confirmation email, with a link that will redirect you to the previously filled-in booking form page, to complete the procedure.

You will have 24 hours to complete your booking. During this period, the apartment will remain blocked from other bookings for the dates you have chosen. After this period of time, the system will cancel your reservation.

To complete the procedure, you will need to enter the names of each guest and the type/number of documents that you will present for each at check-in.

It is very important to enter this data.

Only in this way, the system will be able to correctly prepare your voucher, which is valid as a Timeshare Hotel Lease Agreement.

It will also allow us to speed up the registration phase of your check-in.
